In the EATIM of Jesús Pobre, after two months of work, the remodeling works of the local cemetery have been completed. The works, amounting to the amount of 28.193,24 euros, consisted mainly of the demolition of the screed, reinforcement of the foundations, repair of cracks, and execution of new paving.
Thanks to these works, which have been carried out under the financially sustainable investment plan of 2017 of the Diputación de Alicante, the cemetery has acquired a new image, in addition to the channeling of rainwater on the surface, and the elimination of architectural barriers and improvement of the firm.
Along with these works, the EATIM has taken over the renovation of the electrical installation, the replacement of luminaires and the repainting of all vertical walls. The work will conclude with the restoration of the main door and a countertop so that neighbors can carry out cleaning and flower changes.
