Five hundred people demonstrate against cuts in Dénia central government

Shared a dozen unions, citizens' and political parties participated Saturday morning in the demonstration that was convened at the national level against cuts by the central government.

In the 12 noon hundred people began the journey from Plaza Archduke Carlos Patricio Patricio Ferrándiz to travel, Plaza Jorge Juan, Calderon Street, Temple Sant Telm, Marqués de Campo, carrer Cop and finish in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

Among the demonstrators we could see members of the unions CC.OO, UGT, Intersindical Valenciana, the Platforms of People Affected by the Mortgage of Dénia and Comarca, the Defense of the Dependency Law of the Marina Alta, that of a regional Public Education and that of Defense of Public Health also at a regional level, and the political parties of the SPV, Esquerra Republicana, Partido Comunista, Compromís, Els Verds and Esquerra Unida.

In the basement of City Hall, a member of the Platform of People Affected by Mortgage read a manifesto to reject cuts in health, education and social welfare being implemented by the government of Mariano Rajoy.
