El Real Club Nautico Denia started last Saturday, September 21, the Municipal School of Water Sports of the 2019 / 2020 course. More than 50 boys and girls went to the club premises for the presentation of the course and the start of classes.
Jaime Portolés, President of the Real Club Náutico Dénia, together with Enérgico Carrasco, Head of Sports and the rest of the monitors, welcomed the students and explained the basic rules and concepts to begin with.
The parents of the students attended a talk in the Club Assembly Hall, where they were informed about the course and classes. The meeting was chaired by Jaime Portolés, Enérgico Carrasco and Juan M. Calvente, Vocal de Vela.
The students started classes with several presentation games to get to know each other and the monitors. Then, they were divided into four groups and enjoyed a fun boat activity, in which they had their first contact with the sea.
The Municipal School of Water Sports takes place on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10: 00 to 12: 00 hours for sea kayak and 10: 00 to 14: 00 hours for sailing students.
