A few days ago we knew that the Ministry of Finance had approved projects resurfacing of some streets of Denia with a budget of EUR 950.000 under the Plan Trust, works that take more than two years is expected.
This morning, the mayor Ana Kringe has announced that there are two other new projects approved by the Ministry, both related to the main monumental attraction of the city, the castle.
On the one hand, the redevelopment of the access to the castle along San Francisco Street, a project budgeted at 367.731,84 euros; on the other hand, the project for improvements to the castle in terms of lighting, installation of new signage and clearing of pine trees has been authorized, with a budget of 400.000 euros.
For the mayor, “The execution of the two castle projects represents a substantial improvement that enhances Dénia’s most important and visited monument. This is especially true considering the clearing and removal of pine trees included in the project.”
As established from the Generalitat, the approved projects will be implemented throughout this year 2014.
