The first half of the day of blood donation in Dénia has ended with a total of 92 people presented to participate, of which 82 have been able to donate normally and, of these, 7 have been new donors.
It is the tenth edition of this action, organized by the Transfusion Center of Alicante and the Dénia City Council with the collaboration of the Department of Health of Dénia, the local assembly of the Red Cross, the Fundació Baleària, Appliances Pineda, Radio Dénia Ser and Canfali Marina Alta.
The collection will continue this afternoon, from 16: 45 to 21 hours. The organization relies on the solidarity of the dianenses to overcome the total figures of last year - 279 donations and 50 new donors - and reach the 300 donations.
Remember that to donate is only required to have between 18 and 65 years, weigh more than 50 kilograms, have a good state of health and go hydrated and having ingested some food.
