More than 150 feminists of the region will participate in the march of 7N in Madrid

With three full buses, the feminists of the Marina Alta They are preparing to participate, next Saturday, November 7, in the march against macho violence "to demand that the fight against this violence be a matter of state."

From the region, women belonging to the feminist groups Matria, Dones del Cabal de Pego, Femme Força de Pedreguer, No +, Dones Teulada, Associació de Dones per la Igualtat de Calp, Xarxa de Dones de la Marina Alta, Dones d'Orba and Collective col. All these groups have worked together to organize this trip in the last two months because they believe that "The eradication of sexist violence and violence against women is an issue that affects the entire society."

Approval of your motion in the Town Councils

Last Monday, the City Council of Dénia unanimously approved the motion presented by the platform in all the country's settlements, and according to which they are committed to placing a violet banner with the motto "Against sexist violence" the 7 and 25 days of November, as well as the days in which there is a sexist murder; sustain personal, material and political resources for equality and prevention, as well as legal, social and psychological attention to victims of sexist violence.

In the motion, it is also requested to offer stable and quality care that includes rehabilitation, evaluation and follow-up, a fact that constrains the direct public management of services for equality and against gender violence.

They also request that work continue on the eradication of sexism and segregation, and establish programs for victims of gender violence.

In addition to Dénia, the municipalities of Pego, Pedreguer, Benissa, Calp, Tormos, Vall de Gallinera, Vall de Laguar, Vall d'Ebo, Sagra and Jesús Pobre have approved this motion, and are awaiting approval in Xàbia, Ondara, EL Verger, Xaló, Els Poblets, Orba, la Xara, Gata de Gorgos, Teulada, L'Atzúvia, Castell de Castells and Vall d'Alcalà.
