The interest of the population dianense and comarcal by the ornithology grows day by day. Proof of this is the success of every day organized by the Department of Environment in collaboration with the company Magic & Nature, Through which the attendees discover different aspects related to our birds.
Last weekend, on the occasion of the celebration of Migratory Bird Day, more than a hundred people joined in the program of activities. In the morning, 50 people visited the Natural Park of the Marjal de Pego-Oliva to observe and learn about waterfowl in these ecosystems so important for migratory stops such as Mediterranean wetlands.
The activity of the afternoon consisted of a catamaran sailing through the Cap de Sant Antoni Marine Reserve, with the aim of discovering seabirds in migration and cetaceans, taking advantage of their time of passage. It involved a total of 120 people.
From the organization they have been satisfied with the good reception that these proposals are having, fulfilling thus with the formula to give to know the means of amena form with the purpose of approaching the natural environment to the society and to promote its conservation.
