Very good news for the canoeing section of the Real Club Nautico Denia, as it has been known that his paddler, Maik Dimitrov Manolov, has earned the right to participate in the "European Ocean Race", which is celebrated this weekend.
Dimitrov has achieved his classification for this test, by occupying the sixth place in the national ranking. In this European Sea Kayak event, only 10 will participate in the best paddlers in Spain of each category, which will be measured against the rest of the European paddlers.
The results obtained by the representative of the Real Club Náutico Dénia have been remarkable during the season both at the regional and national levels.
The dianense paddler will play on Saturday 6 in October the first test in SS1 junior with a planned course of downwind from Villajoyosa to Altea or Campello depending on the weather conditions that arise.
On Sunday 7 day, Maik Dimitrov will take the SS2 mixed race with Aitana Gastaldo, the current Spanish Sea Kayak Champion, who has been classified for the European and the World Championships. Both days the same route will be taken depending on the wind direction and you will have to complete a distance of 19.000 meters.
