The company that manages the Department of Health of Dénia, Marina Salud, has issued a statement informing of the controls to which they are subjected each year by the Department of Health of the Generalitat Valenciana since in 2009 they were granted the concession of the health in the region Marina Alta.
In the official notice, the company remembers that at the moment the unit of the commissioner in the Department of Health of Dénia counts on a total of 14 professionals, integrated and located in the own Marina Health Hospital of Denia, which are responsible for ensuring compliance with health insurance regulations, assess the suitability of material and human resources, and transmit the instructions of the Ministry, and for that, it has immediate access to all the information in the area.
Quarterly meets the Mixed Commission of Conselleria, formed by representatives of Marina Salud and the Autonomous Administration and also has the Health Council, a body of social representation, whose purpose is to encourage the active participation of the community in the design of health policies.
Also, Marina Salud remembers that "The Portfolio of Services of the Department of Health of Dénia is subject to the indications of the Department of Universal Health and Public Health, who authorizes or disavows the assistance services that the Department can offer to the neighbors of the region."
In this sense, the Autonomous Administration requires the Marina Health a remission and continuous evaluation of the health activity of the Department of Health of Dénia, "who always receives good grades from the Ministry", adds the statement. In addition, every month the assistance information and economic information and quality management are sent.
To all these reports and evaluations it is added that, every year, like the rest of the health department of the Valencian Region, the Management Agreements are evaluated, which are pacts that are signed every year with the Regional Ministry of Health. These agreements measure up to a total of 95 indicators of health management, a fact denounced by the managers of the concessions departments who request that their care results "They are compared with the same items of all the Health Departments of the Valencian Community, regardless of who manages them, and not only with the indirect management departments".
Since it opened its doors in the year 2009, the Hospital Marina Salud has been subjected to several audits in different areas of the department by the Consellería to which the audits are added to which Marina Salud, as a private company, is in the obligation to comply.
The statement issued by Marina Salud regrets that "Our management model and its results raise interest in many countries, such as the United States, that seek to manage the available resources in the best way. We receive international visits every week but, unfortunately, nobody is a prophet in their land and in the Marina Alta we were born with a strong political, social and union opposition ".
