Marina Salud, the company in charge of managing health in the Marina Alta, has announced the changes that will be made to the staff in view of the large influx of visitors that the region receives every summer. This is a programmed redimensioning that has been planned after a complete analysis of the behavior of the Emergencies in the last three years.
This study indicates that the highest activity is recorded during the months of July and August; especially in the first two weeks of this last month, between the 10: 00 and the 12: 00 at noon.
Therefore, during the months of July and August, the emergency staff will increase by 30%, while in June and September the increase will be 20%, proportional to the increase in demand in summer. This last device will be maintained during the rest of the year and will become part of the structural template. On the other hand, the vacations of the Emergency Nursing will replace the 100% and will be complemented with two additional reinforcements.
The nursing substitutions planned in the Hemodialysis Units, the Intensive Care Unit and Gynecology and Obstetrics are combined with this resizing.
In the summer of 2015, the Emergencies of the Hospital de Dénia they will assist with optional 25, plus 1 pediatrician. On the other hand, the vacations of the structural nursing staff will be replaced in their entirety and the Service will have 30 nurses, 15 nursing assistants, 13 caretakers and 9 administrative staff.
New office in Xàbia
Likewise, the Dénia health department has announced the installation of an office in the Arenal beach of Xàbia at the request of the Javiense town hall.
