Marina de Dénia prepares a special art program in her gallery

08 July 2021 - 10: 06

Next Saturday, July 10, the first abstract art exhibition will be inaugurated at the gallery of Marina de Denia. The sculptor, Toni Marí, together with the painter, Anton Gudzykevych, have been in charge of organizing this exhibition in which several local artists will participate, for example, Andrés Escrivà or Juan Caravaca, who will present their abstract-themed works to us.

This first initiative is framed in the special program that Marina de Dénia has prepared with the support of the City Council for this summer. The first exhibition, which can be visited from July 10, will be the prelude to the sculpture contest to be held on July 20 and where a jury will choose the best sculpture in the exhibition.

The Councilor for Culture of Dénia, Raúl García de la Reina, has expressed the corporation's support for these initiatives that promote culture: «You offer us a space that we cannot. That you give foot and space to all local artists, and that they grow more and more, is for me an initiative that we must continue to support without a doubt»

García de la Reina wanted to emphasize that they are working together with Marina de Dénia to "expand the common work in favor of culture."

The objective of Marina de Dénia is to promote the artists of the region, but also anyone who wants to bet on Dénia. And they have already received proposals from abroad.

Also, in mid-August another exhibition of paintings dedicated to the nautical world will open: "The theme will be based on the sea and everything related to it," said the painter, Anton Gudzykevych.

For his part, the director of the marina, Gabriel Martinez, wanted to thank the City Council for its collaboration “for the support it gives us. And, also, invite all neighbors and tourists to visit the gallery, which as they know is free. We will be delighted to share the works with all those who wish to come »
