Marcos Leon, coach of the England football team room and coach Wrexham Deaf Futsal

Dénia neighbor, Marcos Leon, joined the technical team of the English National Selection Deaf Futsal last April 28.

During the last weekend of April, Marcos Leon was present at the meetings of selection of players in the sports complex Lilleshall, near the town of Newport (West of England), in which the coaching staff took the opportunity to put test the skills of Dianense.

During the selection tests, Marcos León was working directly under the supervision of the National Team Manager, who was impressed by the young Dianense when it came to play with hearing impaired players and decided to propose him to join the future coaching staff. Working with the national coach "has been a great experience as a coach. In addition, I have been impressed by the level of several of the players," said Leon.

Now the National Team Deaf Futsal England prepares for qualifying for the European Championships to be held in Bulgaria next 2014. Marcos Leon faces this championship with great enthusiasm: "working different concepts of the game can get to make a competitive selection and with many possibilities in the Europeans."

During his time as a player, Marcos Leon blunted in the world of soccer regional room and now, after more than 5 years living in the British country, its relationship with the sport has continued and has grown his hobby to become a coach with broad prospects for the future.

And it is that the Dianense does not stop, just a few days ago I closed a new project with a view of the UEFA Futsal Cup Europeans as coach so he will take over the Wrexham Futsal (current Welsh champion) in the UEFA Futsal Cup that will celebrate at the end of August. It is a tough competition but “we will start as always, from the base. I know it is not easy since a European competition demands a high level of sport but not impossible, "said Marcos León.

During the past two seasons Marcos Leon was part of Manchester Futsal Club, getting to place the team as winning the league for the first time in club history.
