The Dianense Marco Miquel, owner of Ice Cream Parlors Miquel, is since this week the new president of the National Association of Heladeros, which until now was secretary. Miquel takes over from José Luis Gisbert, who chaired the ANHCEA over the past 18 years.
Miquel, with its new Board, therefore seeks to promote the image of craftsmanship in the ice in the final consumer, who in the words of the new president, "It seems that the excellent national product that is manufactured in our workers against other offers is not sufficiently valued".
Another of his challenges is greater dissemination of craftswomen ice cream parlors and greater involvement of professionals at industry events throughout the Spanish geography.
