The garden of the City Hall of La Xara was the chosen stage for the investiture of Maite Pérez Conejero, witnessed by neighbors and political representatives of the City of Dénia and the EATIM of Jesús Pobre. The Socialist was re-elected mayor thanks to the 7 votes in favor of the members of the EATIM City Council, all of them belonging to the PSPV-PSOE.
The newly mayor of La Xara once again receives the absolute support of her neighbors, obtaining all the members of the City Council for the PSPV-PSOE. In his speech he showed his gratitude, assuring that the EATIM has given him everything. "I arrived 4 years ago at La Xara", said Pérez Conejero, "I wanted to know what the policy was and if I was trained, which has been one of the best decisions I've made".
The socialist said that 12 will fulfill the points of the program with which the past 26 of May was presented to the municipal elections, although she warns that "some will be done before and others will need more time".
The new mayor of EATIM was excited and eager to work for La Xara. "You have given me a town, and thanks to him I am what I am and where I am", thanked Maite Pérez Conejero.
