This Friday, 27 of July, and during near 4 hours, it will be possible to be seen in practically all the Spanish territory the well-known one like Moon of Blood, or what is the same, total eclipse of moon.
The eclipse will start at 19: 14 (peninsular Spain time) in the penumbra phase and can be seen in almost all of Europe, Africa, the Middle East, part of Central Asia and South America. The Earth will darken the Moon completely when coming between it and the Sun and will leave the satellite with that reddish tone in our sight.
The Moon will leave the southeast horizon at 21: 15, local time. The phase of totality of the eclipse begins just 14 minutes later, at 21: 29 hours, so that practically coincides the lunar ortho with the beginning of the whole. At the same time that the Moon is gaining height in the sky, it will darken more and more.
Although it is a phenomenon that happens often, this time it is the longest total eclipse of the last century.
