Monday night at the mansion of the Les Roques fails, It was established the Consell del Plà Special of the Barri de les Roques, a participative organ open to all the neighbors in which the actions that affect the neighborhood will be discussed and construed with the aim of dignifying it, as explained by the Councilor for Territory and President of the Consell, María Josep Ripoll.
The Consell will consist of 21 members: the president, the secretary, Óscar Mengual; six representatives of the municipal groups in the town hall, five of the neighborhood association, one of the fault, another of the local merchants and seven members who were chosen by lot.
At the first meeting set up three working groups to streamline procedures materialize. One will handle incidents and will be chaired by the district council, Paco RosellóWhich will address the issues of everyday life in the neighborhood. The second working group will address mobility, it will be chaired by the mayor Javier Scotto and will focus on issues such as traffic or the possible pedestrianization of the area. The third group, meanwhile, the Use and Urban Spaces, will address the aesthetics of the neighborhood, urban development plans and subsidies for housing rehabilitation.
During the meeting it was decided that the first meetings of the working groups will be held between the last week of February and first of March, and have a monthly, while the Consell will meet every three months.
