The past 1 of February was established the mixed shift between the nursing workers of the Hospital of La Pedrera de Dénia. This shift establishes days of 7 hours combined with 12 hours, and leaves behind the 12 hours that the workers defend.
To defend that turn, those affected have met this week with the aim of taking action before the center's management. The first is to request assistance from the Síndic de Greuges through a letter. From now on, every Wednesday at the 11 in the morning different protest measures will be held in the center, and soon they will hold a rally in Valencia before the doors of the Ministry of Health. It was also approved to send a letter to the nursing address of the Hospital La Pedrera requesting accreditation, with data, on the allegations that they adduce to justify the change of shift.
But if after the implementation of this measure, the conditions do not improve, the affected workers have proposed a confinement in the hospital indefinitely until the conflict is resolved and strike in the hospitalization units.
