Taking advantage of the visit, this Wednesday, of the President of the Generalitat Ximo Puig to Dénia, a representation of the workers of the HACLE of La Pedrera spoke with him to explain the situation that is currently being experienced in the center.
After a year of negotiations, the management has decided to impose 7 shifts hours in front of the 12 shifts that were carried out so far and that, according to the workers, allowed them a better reconciliation of family and work life. Currently, the management has opted for a mixed formula that includes a day of 12 hours followed by two days of 7 hours, but the workers are not satisfied with this solution.
As they expressed to the President, the 12 shifts allow them to offer a better quality of assistance to hospital residents. The workers denounce that the management does not attend to reasons and rejects their proposals with different reasons in each meeting they carry out. That is why they asked the President of the Consell to intercede in the Department of Health to arbitrate this conflict. And, until now, the Ministry has warned that this is a problem that must be solved internally.
The war in the Pedrera HACLE between workers and management is open, and there seems to be a solution soon. Meanwhile, the hospital continues to collect awards for users and preofesionales for care and care offered to patients.
