The workshops for TAPIS users in Dénia are ten years old

La Condemned to Curb Association has launched, for the tenth consecutive year, workshops aimed at users of the Workshop on Pre-Labor Adjustment and Social Inclusion (TAPIS) in Denia. The main objective is to promote the social skills of its users, and are possible thanks to the collaboration of the Department of Social Affairs of the City of Dénia, some individuals and different volunteers.

This course will have launched a total of four workshops that promote the full inclusion of the group in different activities, as evidenced by the fact that three of the people who run the workshops are people with disabilities.

Workshop Physical conditioning takes place in the sports center of Dénia, is directed by Vicente Aranda and its objective is to improve the health and quality of life of its users through the practice of physical exercise.

Another of the workshops is the group dynamics, which has been developed since 2007 year at the IES Maria Ibars facilities, directed by Jimmy Higueras. More than 40 people participate and with the help of volunteers the center tries to encourage the students' empathy with Tapis users to sensitize the school community to the needs of people with disabilities.

For the seventh consecutive year, the Chikung workshop in the TAPIS. Directed by Marie-France, in order to strengthen the organism on a physical, mental and spiritual level. For his part, Raúl Ayala is in charge of performing the machine shop for the seventh consecutive year. Strengthening the development of space capacity, as well as fostering order and manual skill, making figures with paper, cardboard and napkins, are one of the objectives that are pursued in this workshop.
