15 October 2014 - 17: 02

The Socialist deputy in Congress, Herick Campos, has assessed the proposal for the 2015 General Budgets of the Party. Campos has branded these budgets as electoralist, unfair and discriminatory with the citizens of the Marina Alta.

"Electioneering because they announce a lowering of tax but the reality is that increased the tax burden on citizens. Unjust because they increase inequality and follow cuts in scholarships and aid to dependent. And especially, discriminatory, because the investment per capita in the Marina Alta is only 8 187,50 euros compared to the province and the 238,74 of Valencia"Said Socialist deputy.

Campos has even doubted that the null investment that the Popular Party has foreseen in the region for 2015 will be executed, since as of July 31 only 12% of the planned investment in 2014 had been tendered. Regarding the planned investment , 1.4 million for the entire region, of which 700.000 euros will be invested in Dénia in the San José street remodeling project that has been parked by the PP since it came to power in December 2011.

From Socialist ranks they have lamented that do not invest in basic infrastructure for the region as the train from the coast, the ring Benissa, improving 332 national road investments to improve water availability or investments in the coastline.

The Secretary General of PSPV-PSOE of the Marina Alta, Toni Vaquer, has pointed out that the Generalitat Valenciana also discriminates against the region. Vaquer has given as an example that the Generalitat has not assigned anything to the Marina Alta of the 44 million euros for Compensation Funds.

Campos announced this afternoon debate in Congress NLP filed last June in which he asks that his refusal to manifest research permits or permits hydrocarbon exploration, granted or pending in the Spanish Mediterranean Sea and the authorization of new phases of existing.

It urges the Government of Spain to a standstill for their impacts on the marine environment and represent a serious danger to the fishing and tourism. In this regard it has demanded all parliamentarians of the PP in Congress to support this initiative.
