14 December 2018 - 17: 14

The participation of citizens and a commitment to take advantage of all investments of the European Union that are aimed at making regions go to the next level and placed at the forefront of the world are the two lines of action that will follow the socialists from 2019 to make Dénia a Smart City.

This was stated last Thursday, during the second day of open doors held at its headquarters on Smart Cities in which the delegate of European Projects participated in the Diputación de Valencia and councilor of Quart de Poblet, Bartolomé Nofuentes.

Nofuentes said that "Dénia will soon be a reference, as is Quart de Poblet, on the list of smarts cities of all the world. Our commitment is strong so that, in a scenario where 5G technology is a reality, Dénia is the vanguard ".

During the course of the day, the councilor Maria Josep Ripoll, noted that in 2019 "we aim to develop Smart City projects". In this regard, he recalled that it has been in this term when Dénia has played a leading role in the global scene, increasing its presence and its hospitable, friendly and humane image in countries around the globe with the appointment of the Creative City of Gastronomy. by UNESCO.

    Smart city?
While we play our life to walk on the sidewalk of Denia street to Javea in its narrowing of 20 Centimeters.
The intelligent citizen will not cover them anymore.
This mayor is a bluff and an altar boy from Puigdemont.

  2. Francisco says:

Could you tell how much the amount of debt of the City of Denia, for the lawsuits they lose for urban reasons, this debt will pay the politicians themselves? Or how it will always be the citizenship, that the majority does not find out about such badly managed desacatos.

  3. Luis says:

Being placed at the forefront of the world is too fanciful. You could have explained it in a simpler way and you would avoid ridicule. Today with the Internet and a little curiosity anyone can see wonderful cities, anywhere in the world, of which you are light years away.

  4. Mrs Cresswell says:

To be 'Up There' with other cities, perhaps in these times 'the basics' would help
To be able to connect to Fiber Optic for WIFI in all areas of the city maybe?

  5. José Femenia says:

I would settle for Denia being clean and seizing all the motitos with free escape that burst our ears at all hours.
Then it will come all those paparruchas to entice us a few months before the elections.
