24 October 2014 - 09: 44

After the latest data released by those responsible for the Hospital de la Pedrera and the Brain Injury Unit, the Socialists of Dénia They have wanted to show their discomfort before the situation that is still living in the region and that has been denounced for years.

Hospital de La Pedrera

The socialist councilor in charge of health issues, Cristina Morera, has recalled that in July 2013 a motion was approved unanimously by the Plenary of the Dénia City Council in which it was agreed to ask the Generalitat Valenciana to require the company that manages health in area 13, Marina Salud, the referral of users of the Marina Alta who needed the health care provided at the Hospital de la Pedrera, since the number of referrals had dropped dramatically from more than 100 patients in 2010 to only 9 in 2012.

In fact in December 2013 was the mayor's own Ana Kringe who after numerous complaints about it, he threatened to " do what I had to do and take the steps that were to take"For patients in the region they could be treated at the Hospital of La Pedrera. These words, according to the Socialist councilor "They have been merely a headline, typical of the mayor of Denia, which, as he usually does, it merely gives holders and no solutions to the problems of our neighbors".

Morera has stressed that "It is a joke on the part of Marina Salud to have referred only 2014 patients in 25 compared to the more than 100 that were referred in 2010, a joke that the concessionaire company has been carrying out for years with the approval of the Ministry of Health and of Ana Kringe in Dénia, both from Party".

For all this, the socialists of Dénia will continue to demand that Ana Kringe comply with her word, go where she needs to go and stop allowing a health business to be made in the Marina Alta.

For its part, as mentioned a few days ago by the Secretary of Health of the PSPV-PSOE and Deputy in Les Corts Valencianes, Ignacio Subías, the Socialists have reiterated the commitment to recover the public management of health in the Marina Alta and to recover all the rights that have been cutting the party in the government for years.
