Since a month ago the government team announced its intention to change the loading and unloading time in the city of Dénia, there have been many voices that have raised both for and against this initiative.
For Pep Marí, Socialist councilor, the amendment sought by the local government to establish loading and unloading until 13 hours is a measure that will reduce parking spaces and worsen the tourist image of the town.
The Socialist group will propose the withdrawal of the amendment of article 68 of the General Municipal Ordinance traffic circulation motor vehicles and road safety and urges the council of government to the submission of a modification of times loading and unloading adapting each urban area of town.
Marí recalled that several years ago as to reduce the time for loading and unloading in order to avoid traffic of trucks and vans inside the city to achieve improve the tourist image of the town and get more places adopted parking in the city center.
