13 2014 April - 00: 00

Socialist spokesman Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, has positively valued the meeting of the Xarxa d'Alcaldes de la Marina Alta held last Thursday in Dénia. Grimalt has supported the initiative to draft a joint manifesto of all the municipalities of the Marina Alta against the oil prospecting project on the Valencian-Balearic coast that could mean an ecological and environmental disaster on our coast.

Grimalt has pointed out that Socialists of Dénia They will support all actions and measures that prevent oil exploration in front of the beaches of the Marina Alta, but has gone further, and has asked the mayor of Dénia, Ana Kringe, take it one step further and press the high offices of the PP with responsibilities in the Government of Spain and the Generalitat so that they avoid the petroleum prospecting in the Valencian-Balearic coast.

The leader of the Socialists of Dénia has stressed that now more than ever it is necessary to unite all the mayors in the face of this aggression, but the mayor of Dénia must go a step further and demand her party mates with responsibilities in the Ministry and the Generalitat to do everything possible to avoid such environmental aberration on our coast. "It is inconceivable that in Dénia one thing is said and in Valencia and Madrid another is made," added the Socialist councilor.
