The Socialists are committed to a shift in perspective in managing water resources

Dénia socialist group continues its participatory workshops, which regularly analyzes different issues that concern citizens with an eye on the electoral program presented next May.

On the day on territory and environment they had the collaboration of Professor Miguel Hernández University, Jorge Mataix, who gave a conference on the effects of forest fires, highlighting that, after a fire, "the ideal would be for nature to follow its path, it being necessary to introduce regrowth species and the implantation of a more heterogeneous landscape ".

After the presentation, the biologist César Bordehore, Joan Sala from the Agró Ecologist Association and the geographer Maria Josep Ripoll.

Seminar on Planning and the Environment of the PSOE Dénia

Bordehore explained measures for coastal management emphasizing the need for management of the uses of the marine environment and improving the quality of seawater, acting on wastewater through improved debugging and expansion of the network sanitation, denouncing in his speech that the current network of the city has a level similar to countries like Bolivia development.

Joan Sala stepped on the General Structural Plan which is handling the City Council and said that it should be as realistic as possible and meet the current needs.

The geographer Maria Josep Ripoll explained the need for a change of perspective in the management of water resources, based on the premise that water is the heritage of all and must be managed by all territorial agents.

The socialist candidate for mayor, Vicent Grimalt, highlighted the importance of the management and protection of Natural Park Montgó in the Government program.
