This week has taken place in Dénia the first meeting of the Municipal Council of Foreign Residents, who served formally consitutir this participatory body whose creation was approved at the plenary session last January.
The first meeting was attended by representatives of political groups and associations Town Hall Club Casa Holanda, German Euroclub, Seniorennetswerk, Konzertfreunde, Russia House, Friends of Dénia, Dénia France Ouverture Francophone, U3A Dénia Dénia and Help.
Óscar MengualCouncilman International Relations, will be the Chairman of the Board, whose main objective is to listen to the demands and suggestions of the group of foreign residents of Dénia. That is why the audience was placed to propose topics of interest to their respective associations at the next meeting, which will luagr in June.
In this second meeting, the vice-presidency of the Council will also be chosen from among the people belonging to the associations that wish to apply.
