The Valencian ports bear four million euros of damage from the storm Gloria

The 14 ports that make up the Agrupación de Puertos Deportivos y Turísticos de la Comunidad Valenciana have been supporting, for more than five months, four million euros of damage left by the temporary glory. "It is incomprehensible that with the start of the summer season we can not have the facilities in perfect condition because the Insurance Compensation Consortium has not yet visited the damage of many of the ports", says Gabriel Martínez, president of the Association of Sports and Tourist Ports of the Valencian Community.

Jetties, premises, walks, moorings or anchor lines are some of the damages that the sporting and tourist ports of the Valencian Community have, after the passage of the stormy Gloria in January. "We regret the helplessness due to the lack of service and not being able to offer the image that our clients have every year, and especially at a time when quality is one of the most important factors in attracting the usual clients and consolidating to the new ones ”says Martinez.
