Marina and tourist ports celebrate Marina Day tomorrow Saturday

12 June 2020 - 14: 21

Tomorrow, Saturday June 13, the Marina Day is celebrated, the day of the Sports and Tourist Ports. This edition is marked by one of the most serious crises that we have experienced in many years, that caused by COVID-19. The Marina Day was born with the intention of bringing society closer to the sports and tourist ports, so that they discover the great variety of activities that can be carried out in them. The exceptional nature of the situation has forced the marinas not to celebrate the Marina Day in person, in order to avoid crowds of people in their facilities.

But in this edition, the 170 ports that make up the Spanish Federation of Sports and Tourist Ports (FEAPDT), celebrate Marina Day virtually. "This year we have focused the campaign on conserving the seas and raising awareness of proper recycling of masks and gloves," says Gabriel Martínez, president of the Feapdt.

In addition, the Feapdt joins the Libera Project's most anticipated square meter campaign, which is also taking place tomorrow. This year the 1m2 is transformed into 600 pixels, the most common digital measurement in social network photos. 600pixels2 for nature, and for everyone. # LIBERA600px. A social media challenge has been prepared to be held on June 13. The challenge is to upload a photo to Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag # Libera600px. The photo must be of that natural space that you want to keep free of rubbish, of the Spanish territory.
