Many boys and girls in their beginnings as basketball players dream of having the opportunity to play their games in a venue such as a pavilion. Well, that dream was fulfilled by all the participants in the Prebenjamín category of the Local Basketball League of Dénia.
The boys and girls belonging to the 10 teams belonging to the schools; Marists, Alpha & Omega, Paidos, Pou, Montgo, Carmelitas and Les Vessanes, played the last day of the league in the Joan Fuster pavilion.
Some games that, like in the rest of the days that have been played, have no winner or loser. In this Prebenjamín category, the results do not count. The objective is not the competitiveness among the participants, but all those who start in the sport of the basket, have fun and have good feelings.
Once the games were over, the trophies and medals were handed out to all the participants. In which they participated, the Councilor for Sports, Vicent Crespo, and the Sports Director of the Dénia Básquet Club, Manolo Viciano.
The Local League coordinator, Carlos Vila, thanked the efforts of all the monitors, parents and players so that the competition was a success.
