Dénia ClàssicsThe classical music festival each year marks the beginning of Denia, has already presented the poster 2016 edition. And this time highlights the presence of numerous Valencian musicians, the artistic quality shows that we have around.
The four concerts will be held the last Friday of the months of January, February, March and April at the Social Center at 19 hours. Friday January 29 inaugrará concert cycle Atlantic Wind Quintet, whose members include the Dianense clarinetist Pablo Marín and the oboe interpreter Lourdes Gavilà, of Ondara. The concert will have a first part of Mozart and Haydn's music composed for open spaces –divertimentos and serenades- and a second one, mainly dedicated to music from the transatlantic regions.
The 26 February will be the turn of the Valencian pianist Antonio Galera, a concert with international projection will present a program of large sonatas and fantasies for piano by Schubert and Mendelssohn.
Back in March, 25 Friday will be the turn of the string quartet Odessa String Quartet, A formation composed of dedicated professional soloists from Ukraine. The group devoted the first part of its actions to perform works by Haydn and Mozart and conclude the concert with pieces by Brahms and Strauss.
To end the cycle Dénia ClàssicsAnd as usual in recent years, it will be the turn of jazz concert Lie down & Friends Jazz Band, Training led by Eva Olivencia dianenses (vocals) and Josep Pastor (piano) will propose a tour of the swing of the years 20 and 30 of the twentieth century.
Festival director, Josep Vicent Giner, highlighted the quality of the proposed concerts for this year, while the technical department of culture, Maribel Font, stressed the loyalty of the public to this event year after year. Both have attended the council Josep Crespo in presenting concerts.
The cost of the entrance to each concert is 13 euros and the subscription to the four concerts of the 38 euros festival. The tickets can be purchased in advance at the Konzertfreunde association (telephone 965 788 840) and at the Pro Akustik Dénia store (Diana street, 49), and at the box office one hour before each performance.
