The Masons of Valencia donate to the Hospital de Dénia 80.000 euros to acquire four ultrasound

The Department of Health of Dénia has received a donation of 80.000 euros from The Masonic Home of Valencia Association -Association of the House of the Masons of Valencia-. This amount has been used to finance the purchase of four ultrasound scanners for Primary Health Centers, devices that will allow ultrasound scans in primary school, facilitating early diagnosis of some diseases.

The act of donation took place this afternoon in the Assembly Hall of the Hospital de Dénia and it has been chaired by the Director-Manager of the Department of Health, Luis Carretero; the President and the Treasurer of The Masonic Home of Valencia Association, Jennifert Hart and Hugh Parker, respectively; In addition to the head of Corporate Development, Maria Teresa López and the Director of the Health Center of Javea, Dr. Mª José Mulet.

The manager of the Department of Health of Dénia thanked The Masonic Home of Valencia Association this important contribution that represents an improvement in the health care of the Marina Alta. Also the Director of the Health Center of Xàbia has underlined "This donation is a benefit for Primary patients and doctors, since ultrasound scanners facilitate diagnosis and help us make faster and more accurate decisions".

The Masonic Home of Valencia Association 2015 donated 102.400 euros to the Department of Health of Dénia, which enabled the purchase of a tomosynthesis machine and an ultrasound machine Siemens, with which an important number of diagnostic tests have been carried out. And also in 2017 they made a donation of 100.000 euros for the acquisition of a second TAC.
