The group of Young Socialists of the Marina Alta bet this Christmas because no child is left without a gift this Christmas. For this they have promoted the campaign A gift, an illusion, through which they will collect donations from neighbors in the region in the form of toys to deliver to children at risk of social exclusion.
The general secretary of the political organization, Enrique Chover, has manifested his commitment "to pick up, wherever we are claimed, what they want to send us. Many people and entities of all kinds - cultural, sports, solidarity, etc. - have already committed to us to pay amounts in cash and by transfer, for not have time to go shopping for gifts. We also commit ourselves to all those people to buy gifts and for their will to materialize ".
For this reason, Joves Socialistes de la Marina Alta has provided two telephone numbers (677 62 91 45 and 651 12 51 13) and an email (comunicacion.socialistas@gmail.com), so that anyone can send them their adhesion to the campaign and inform them of the procedure to follow to make the donation.
There will be collected in Pego, Calp, Dénia, Xàbia, Teulada-Moraira and El Verger. As explained by the secretary of organization, Ángel Serrano, "Each municipality in which we have companions and partners, they and they will be responsible for both the collection of gifts and the choice of their final destination, so that, depending on the needs of each site, attend to all the little people who need us. Our goal is that no Marina Alta boy or girl is left without a gift under the tree at Christmas and Kings ".
