The Department of Social Welfare, through the Unit of Community Prevention in Addictive Behaviors (UPCCA), and with the collaboration of the Associated Center of the UNED of Dénia, has organized, from April 3 to 11, the second part of the workshop "Social skills" with students from 6 * é Primary. 465 involved in school activity eleven schools in Denia, La Xara and Jesus Pobre.
The mayor of Social Welfare, Cristina Morera, He attended the start of a session at the Marist school. The workshop is taught by the educationalist, and Dr. Lorena Pérez in Teaching and School Organization, Maria Dolores Moreno, experienced social skills.
The aim of this workshop is that students acquire, develop and / or improve skills related to social skills. To achieve this, they provide tools that allow appropriate interaction in different social contexts. Also they facilitate them control of behavior in different situations where they can be found throughout life. Also that students, through play and dramatization of real situations, social work skills to manage relationships both with the same as with others and manage conflict situations.
This second part focuses on knowing how to express, in a timely and appropriate manner now, our opinions, feelings and needs, respecting and accepting the arguments of others, against the passivity and aggression.
