21 July 2018 - 08: 57

Businessmen and rulers met again in Dénia to talk about the urban situation of the municipality. It was this week at the town hall, in a meeting requested by the Cercle d'Empresaris de la Marina Alta, which was attended by the president, Sonja Dietz, the Vice President of Urban Planning and Infrastructure, Benito Mestre, and the Secretary of ACEAD, Alberto Morera.

After the meeting, which was the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, and the councilor of territory, Maria Josep Ripoll, the businessmen could only thank the dialogue and good nature, lamenting the lack of solutions to the problems raised.

From CEDMA They showed their displeasure by the accomplishment of works in the center of the city in the heat of summer, and the mediatic repercussion that Dénia, like tourist municipality has undergone. Since the City Council regretted that this issue has "politicized".

On the allegations of the PGE, the government team responded that some reports are still to come. Regarding the approval of the Transitory Urban Regulations, Ripoll replied that he hopes that they will be approved soon.

The last subject to put on the table was the operation of the urban planning department. According to the Cercle Empresarial, the reasons put forward by the Dianense executive in this meeting to explain the delays in virtually any type of procedure are the same as three years ago: you can not hire more staff. The solution, too: the agreement with the College of Architects will be retaken.

At the end of the meeting, the businessmen reported that "You can not undo and demonize in this way a sector that is so necessary in the city", and in the opinion of CEDMA "someone has to act once and for all
responsibly"
