The "II Spanish Cup of Sea Kayak"Held in Dénia and organized by the Real Club Nautico Denia Left several podiums in the locality. This sporting event that hosted more than 200 paddlers from many different points of Spanish geography had local prominence in the category of Veterans. The palista, Juan Carlos Perez was gold in the category K1 Veterans Sprinter. The technique used by the representative of the Real Club Nautico Dénia was perfect and led him to be the best in this category. These good results left the Real Club Náutico Dénia racing team in seventh place in a classification that led RCN Palma, while second place went to CN La Vila Joiosa and third place went to Club de Mar Mallorca.
