The good reception of the program "Discover the landscapes of Dénia", organized by the Department of Environment of the city of Dénia, has shown that dianenses and visitors, increasingly, we are more sensitized by our natural values.
Since the last 16 in July, and during 4 weeks, 225 has been the people that have participated in some way in the organized activities, either the nocturnal excursions through the municipality, or visiting the exhibition that was installed in the Classroom of the Nature of the Forest House of the Iryda.
The beach, the dunes, the Alberca river, the greenway, the agricultural landscape of Jesús Pobre, the cliffs of the Marine Reserve, the Cova de l'Aigua, the Camí de la Colònia, the Coll de Pous or the Torre del Gerro have been the destinations of the excursions, which the Councilor for the Environment, Juan Carlos Signes, values very positively.
The first week of July, access signs to the Colònia Camí and Pare Pere hermitage were installed from the town center, as well as the Iryda Forest House, the Nature Classroom was installed and an exhibition of information panels was installed in the exterior pine forest house. The programming of activities was completed with seven talks on different environmental issues.
