IES students 3 number are involved to combat school violence

Students of 3º of ESO of the IES Number 3 of Dénia have obtained a certification that accredits them as tutors of students of 1º of ESO to avoid violence and bullying within the school itself. This is the Tutoría Entre Iguales (TEI) program, which begins to be implemented in the center.

Last year, the entire faculty received a training course thanks to the master classes of Alberto Andrés, program trainer created by the psychologist Andrés González Bellido. Last week, the director of the center, José Jensen, and the coordinator of the TEI program, Marta Forrat, handed out to several 3º ESO students the cards that accredit them as tutors during this year.

His work during the course will improve school integration of their peers and encourage peer relationships are more satisfactory. The TEI program is based on emotional peer tutoring where respect, empathy and commitment are the cornerstones of development.
