The students of the moped course organized by the Local Police receive their diploma

Last week took place the closing ceremony of the 18.º Course of training of moped drivers organized by the Department of Road Education of the Local Police of Dénia and that began the past 21 of June. The event was attended by the Councilor for Citizen Protection, Javier Scotto, the coordinator of the course, the agent Manuel Moreno Mas, the councilor Vicent Crespo and representatives of two of the collaborating entities, Motos Quirro and the local assembly of the Red Cross.

A total of 40 young people from 14 to 16 participated in this edition, some of which attended the event that took place in the Plenary Hall of the Dénia Town Hall to receive their diplomas and participate in the draw for two full-face helmets, a gift of Motorcycles Quirro of Dénia and of the factory of helmets NZI of Yecla (Murcia).

The 18.º Course of training of moped drivers has been taught in the multipurpose classroom of the Montgó school. He has combined theoretical classes with practical sessions conducted with the collaborating driving schools Vip, Guillem, Victor, Juanvi, Más Fácil, V de Victoria and Poveda.

The local assembly of Red Cross Dénia has also collaborated in the development of the course; the Provincial Association of Driving Schools of Alicante, the Association of Spinal Cord Injured ASPAYM and the Community Prevention Unit in Addictive Behaviors (UPCCA) of the Ajuntament de Dénia.

The Etrasa publishing house and the DGT have contributed didactic material; The NZI helmet factory has provided material and the integral helmet that has been raffled today between the students and the workshop Motorcycles Quirro of Dénia has contributed with material for the participants, the delivery of the other integral helmet drawn and a gift for the participants.
