The Men's Fry of 2001 participated in Valencia in the sixth edition of the prestigious Malilla tournament which is accessed by strict invitation. Among the eight participants were some of the most powerful teams in the category in the Autonomic area.
After overcoming the initial group with two wins against CB Barcas Valencia, a subsidiary of Ros Casares, the hosts of CB Malilla and a defeat against the powerful Valencia Basket, a very creditable fourth place was achieved after falling in semifinals against Xátiva, equipment would end up winning the tournament by beating Valencia Basket.
In the precious bronze match Castellón ABC ended up winning by just three points apart from ours (52-55) noting experienced by our school in recent years progress.
