Manolo Medina and Javier Vallespín act next Saturday, 7 22 February at Teatro pm in the Auditorium of the Social Center Dénia staging the hit play "Two single men without dot com ... or nothin '.
They are not at all gay, but the role of Javier (is that brings the money home for only working him) and excessive mannerism of Manolo (has grown up with his mother, six sisters and a butler who was effete) make people talk more.
13 consecutive years after triumphing on stages all over Spain, Dénia come now wanting to make people laugh with a successful comedy. Manolo and Javier tell us about this comedy in this interview:
For those who have not heard even speak of the work. What will be in the theater?
- TWO MEN ONLY, WITHOUT POINT COM. .. NI NÁ has nothing to do with anything of what is nowadays in the Spanish stages. We just want the public to come be predisposed from laughing. We already take care of the rest ...
The work speaks of two men living together. Do they have more in common than they think that?
- Noooooooo that goes, Manolo and Javier are two completely different beings to which the crisis joins them and Manolo's so politically incorrect sense of humor that makes Javier has become the best roommate in the world, but they have nothing to do with each other.
I still surprised participation and interaction of the public?
- The public is surprised and surprised. That is one of the keys to the success of this work.
By the way what is the secret of success?
- If we knew the secret we would be millionaires. The crisis is helping theaters that represent comedy to be filled with the need to laugh that people have. For our part we present a work already polished after 12 years of scenarios after being constant and never stop believing in the product we have.
Do you have in mind future projects?
- Long life still has this, as to think of others.
What would you say to those who are still hesitant to go or not to see the work?
- To knock on the door of our house that surely they will want to stay and live with us forever. Laughter is assured.
