L'Etern Vigilant guards the presentation of Aitana Montero as the infantile faller of Baix la Mar

La Baix la Mar fails was fortunate to have Vicent, an illustrious discoverer of myths, to guide the presentation of his charges as children, Aitana Montero and Ferràn Peris. The little explorer had a mission: to collect the myth of the Etern Vigilant, the one that speaks of the Montgó.

According to this myth, long before men populated the world, power over everything existing was shared by two gods: Timana, goddess of the waters and the depths of the sea; and Diamana, god of the earth, rocks and peaks. Both, eternal rivals, wanted to dominate everything. For thousands of years, their games ended up modifying the terrestrial coast and relief. This is the beginning of the Etern Vigilant myth, the one that keeps us all and that accompanied the seafaring xicalla on such a special day.

As a titan was presented Ferran, the president, whose words were intended to thank the love of the commission and extend the desire that this year is unforgettable for all of them. Then the sirens and tritons of Baix la Mar passed through the stage, the children's commission that filled the Social Center with joy and life.

And as one of the great coincidences of the gods was called the little Aitana, proclaimed by Ferràn as a major infantile faller. The president received from the father of Aitana the band that accredits him as the maximum representative of the xicalla marinera, as well as the bouquet of flowers with which the commission entertained him.

Next, the person in charge of his exaltation was called to the stage. And it was none other than his mother, Mar Castro, who with an enviable integrity dedicated to her daughter a few words of affection and remembrance of everything she experienced, as well as the people who accompany her this year and who make up her new faller family.

From her throne, at the top of the stage, and escorted by the gods Timana and Diamana, Aitna Aitana received the signs of affection from those who wanted to share a special morning with her. In the first place the president of the Association of Veïns de Baix la Mar came up. After him, a representative of the Comissió de Festes de la Mare de Deu dels Desemparats. Representing other sister parties rose the childlike belle of the Carrer Sant Vicent, from Alicante, and the major infantile faller of the Rei Jaume I fault of Carcaixent.

Representing the consistory, the party councilor went up, Óscar Mengual; and finally Aitana accompanied the charges this year, María Giner and Manuel Marco; his predecessors, Sara Sendra and Jaume Pérez; and the infantile faller of Dénia, Carla Vinaroz.

Once the tributes were completed, the time came for the May faller, who took the floor to remember the moments of joy that have taken place this year and look to the future to wish that the coming months are equally happy.

And with the myth of Etern Vigilant explained, the explorer Vicent recalled how lucky we are to have with us a mountain as beautiful and historic as the Montgo, that Vell Montgó that put an end to the act of proclamation and exaltation of the oldest child fallera of Baix la Mar.
