The second phase of the season of the V Regata de la Liga Suma de Banco Fijo del Mediterráneo began last Sunday, February 13, with track regattas in Calp. The greatest achievement of the competition was for the veterans, who they achieved the first place reaching the best real time of their category.
In the regattas, the veteran and cadet teams cover 700 meters with one tack, while the junior and senior teams cover 1400 meters with three tacks. The last day was quite difficult due to the strong winds, despite this, the two veteran teams managed to get on the podium.
Thus, the veteran men's team tied for third position and shared bronze with the Mar Clot Sports Club of L'illot El Campello, after a regatta marked by problems with the boat.
