The Rotary Club of Dénia begins a new stage. Last Saturday, 30 in June, its members met at the traditional transfer of power dinner in which the outgoing president, Javier Seguí, handed over the presidency to Maribel Roselló.
The new president will have a team with women as protagonists. Beside her will be Anabel Romera as Secretary, Angelines Asperilla as Macero and Ana Moya as Treasurer.
In his first speech, Roselló announced that he is going to work to equip the New Day Center located in La Xara for people with functional diversity and who require high care of a multisensory room so demanded and necessary for the users. To start raising funds, they have convened a charity dinner, the next 28 in July, at the El Poblet Salons.
The transfer of power dinner was attended by members of the Rotary clubs of La Font Roja, Alcoy, Altea, Xàbia and Valencia Centro, in addition to Luis Santos, Outgoing Governor of the 2203 District.
