The Center Associated to the UNED in Dénia continues celebrating the UNED Days, which last March 21 addressed the course Alternatives to the judicialization of conflicts: criminal mediation in minors.
The course was conducted by Joana Canet, prosecutor and tutor teacher of the center associated with the UNED in Dénia, which began explaining the origin of the mediation, as an alternative to the judicialization of the conflict, it continued in detail what it consists of, explaining the experiments carried out in USA and Canada, explaining five programs in total.
Next, it focused on criminal mediation in minors, seeing: the law of and the minor, criminal responsibility of the minor, the role of the mediator and its functioning. He finished the program with a case study of a minor offense of injury, where the application and usefulness of mediation could be perfectly seen.
