Habaneras cooled the harbor on one of the hottest summer nights

The heat and the embarrassment of the night were not an obstacle for a thousand people to enjoy, on Saturday night, the traditional Cantada de Habaneras in the port of Dénia.

In a marine frame and very dianense, with the fishing boats as a stage, the rondalla Vent, Pols i Púa He opened the proceedings. The dianenses offered a very popular repertoire in which there were classics such as The Vell Montgó, by Paco Muñoz.

The second part of the concert was given by the people of Barcelona Overseas, a formation with a female voice as leader that connected with the audience that attended this traditional summer date in Dénia.

As every year, the Song of Habaneras ended with the crowd cream Of rum.
