The Department of Equality of the City Council of Dénia, in collaboration with the Youth and Markets Councils, Matria Associació de Dones, the Center Dénia Dona, the Dianense Dicker Football Club, the Baix la Mar fails and the Cine-Club Pessic, adds to the celebration of the International Day against gender violence with a program of activities that includes theater, sports, cinema, talks and exhibitions, among other proposals.
The program starts the November 20th, at 18 hours, with the awards ceremony of the poster contest of the International Day against gender violence in which students of Secondary, Bachelor and training cycles of the educational centers of Dénia have participated. This year's winners are Lucía Gómez, student of 3.º of ESO of the IES number 3, and Tiegan Van Klaarwater Hunter, student of 1.º of artistic Baccalaureate of the IES Historian Chabàs. His works illustrate the posters and the programming of events edited by the city council.
The awarded works can be seen, along with the rest of the posters submitted to the contest, in an exhibition installed on the first floor of the Casa de Cultura until the 5 in December.
That same afternoon, at 19.30 hours, the talk will take place in the conference room of the Casa de Cultura 'Network of Women's Centers 24 hours. Comprehensive care for victims of gender violence ', organized by the Center Dona Dénia.

As every year, Matria Associació de Dones organizes its vaccination campaign against gender violence. It will be Friday November 23th, from 10 to 14 hours, in the Calle Marques de Campo.
The Ajuntament de Dénia has scheduled this day, at 13 hours, in the Plaza de la Constitució, the institutional act of the International Day against gender violence, in which the manifesto agreed by the Consell de les Dones will be read, a minute of silence will be observed in memory of the victims, with musical accompaniment by Débora Tasqué, and the students of the ETC will perform Marina Alta and the students of the theater workshop of the Classrooms for the Third Age. In case of rain, this act will be transferred to the Plenary Hall of the Dénia Town Hall.
In the afternoon, at the 19 hours, an exhibition will be inaugurated in the Sala JovesArt de Juventud with works by Susana García, María Casado, Erica Landford and María Ginestar, artists who work on gender violence in their creations. The exhibition, organized by the Youth Council, may be visited until the December 15.

The "Face-to-face violence against gender" photocall will be installed in the central part of the market from the 11 to the 13 hours of the Saturday November 24.
The commitment to fight against gender violence will also be visible in the sports field. Saturday 24 November, at 20 hours, before the futsal game that will face the CFS Dianense Dprint and CFS Ribeco Castalla, corresponding to the sixth round of the Women's Autonomous League, will read the manifesto against gender violence. It will be at the facilities of the Dénia Municipal Sports Center.
And to conclude the programming, at the 19 hours, in the Social Center, Matria Associació de Dones, in collaboration with the Cine-Club Pessic organizes a cineforum session in which the truth of Soraya M., directed by Cyrus Nowrasteh, will be screened , and a subsequent debate will open with the participation of the public.
