The students of the Classrooms of the Third Age of Dénia face the final stretch of the course 2019 / 2020. In two weeks they finish the classes this year and do it, as usual for fifteen years, with a cultural festival that will take place from the 25 to the 28 in June at the Social Center.
The festival will present the works that the students of the different Aulas workshops have done during the course, there will be performances of the theater, dance and taichí-chikung workshops and the winners of the Intergenerational 2018 Song Festival of the children's modality, Loren Lumitaxi, and juvenile, Pablo del Moral, will perform at the opening of the festival, which will take place on Tuesday 25 in June, at 18: 30 hours.
That same day, at 19 hours, an exhibition will be inaugurated with the works made by the students of the ceramic sculptures, stained glass, painting, computer science, creative skills, patchwork and bolillos from Aulas Dénia, La Xara and Jesús Pobre. The sample will be installed in the 2ª and 3ª plant of the Social Center and may be visited until the 28 in June.
The percussion group Ondarattack will star in the guest performance with which will end the festival on Friday 28, from the 18: 30 hours.
The course 2018 / 2019 of Classrooms of the Third Age of Dénia has passed with practically all of the 1.254 seats offered covered and more than 800 people enrolled. The programming consists of 22 workshops that encompass three areas: Humanities, Physical and Creative.
The course program has been completed with excursions and cultural outings, literary talks, volunteering, collaborations in events of other departments, competitions and celebrations such as the Day of the Elderly, the Christmas or Valentine's Day, in addition to master classes and artistic exhibitions.
1.254 seats for the new course
For the 2019 / 2020 course, an offer of 1.254 places has also been taken. During this month of June the enrollment has been renewed for the students already enrolled in the course that is now finished and, the places that have been left free, will be offered from the 1 in September. During July, the number of free places offered and the specific dates of registration will be published.
