The Diputación de Alicante has approved on Friday the bases of the call for subsidies and aid for investments financially sustainable this year, which will also be able to access also the smaller local entities, excluded in the initial draft of the call. In this way, La Xara, Jesus Pobre and Llosa de Camatxo, the three smaller entities of the province, will have the possibility of requesting these aids.
The initial proposal, drafted by the government of Party, excluded the EATIMs from this call, referring them to the cities to which they belong. He was the socialist deputy for the Marina Alta and mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, who proposed the modification that was finally approved with the support of all the groups except Compromís, who abstained.
This proposal, according to Chulvi, "It obeys criteria based on common sense and the ability of these municipalities to directly address the investment needs to improve the quality of life of their neighbors".
