The celebration of the 9 d'Octubre in La Xara was filled with tradition. From the first hour the Plaça del Cinema hosted popular games for the little ones and the meeting of bolilleras, which happened while the local artist Kreator interpreted some of his songs.
To eat, EATIM a giant paella offered to all residents who gathered in the square, and the day ended with dances and traditional music of Grup de Danses Muntanyeta Colla and Percussió the Xareta.
The mayor of La Xara, Maite Pérez Conejero, Appreciated the day very positively by pointing out that "Time, and especially the people of La Xara, have accompanied us throughout the day, which encourages us to continue filling the Plaça del Cinema with activities, a magnificent place to develop muhas and various cultural, recreational and traditional manifestations."
