It's party in Bombonets, are celebrating and not only for the great return to school but also because they turn two years. In this time they have been able to learn, to innovate, to give more teachers to the center and to grow with the smallest ones.
Laia and Pilar started this project two years ago, with the illusion, youth and initiative that characterizes them. The love of his profession today makes CEI Bombonets celebrate one more year his return to school.
After meeting with them, the first thing they wanted to convey is the gratitude they feel. "We thank the teachers and parents who have trusted us. Together we are now a big family," both of us are delighted.
By May, CEI Bombonets already had all its seats covered. Numerous parents are those who trust Bombonets so that their children grow, learn social skills and ultimately prepare for the great challenge of the school stage. Laia and Pilar remember that "there will be a new enrollment period in February and March."
What has Bombonets that so much loves the parents?
"In Bombonets we are a trilingual center," they explain that through everyday activities, terms are introduced in the three languages: Valencian, Spanish and English.
"One upon a time" is, for example, a storytelling activity continued throughout the course. In order for children to listen to their favorite stories with words in all three languages.
Another advantage of Bombonets is its extensive schedule, since they open throughout the year, from 7h to 20h. Laia and Pilar insist that they do not close in festive periods, only do so on specific days. In this way, the service is extended much more to the parents. Moms and dads also have a digital agenda, which includes all the activities that children do.
Another aspect that stand out is the equipment that makes up CEI Bombonets. In total there are seven professionals, including technicians, teachers and specialists, as well as a cook and a nutritionist who makes menus. There is also the figure of the psychologist who gives support to both parents, children and teachers, who need it.
But undoubtedly, what makes this kindergarten school unique is the large yard, where children live with fauna and flora and learn from the little farm and small farm.
Back to school
During these two summer months, the children had a great time at the Summer School of Bombonets, with trips to the beach, the big patio, planting in the orchard, learning from animals in a didactic way, etc. And once arrived September, Bombonets receives many other students after their vacations.
Laia and Pilar explain to us that with the return to school the adaptation period is important, especially for the new children who are joining the nursery for the first time. "It is the most important thing for parents, teachers and the most difficult for them. It depends on the child, but the period is adjusted according to their needs," says Laia.
Pilar also explains that it is advisable to take the child the first day for two hours to the center, the next day the same time and on the third day the hours can be increased. "Little by little, at the end of the first weeks and as a general rule, the child will already be adapted and calmer," he clarifies.
"Bombonets is also an aid for the little ones to prepare to go to school," says Pilar. In their last year of kindergarten children leave more prepared to the new challenge of starting school.
CEI Bombonets Playhouse
CEI Bombonets, offers children's playroom service from 0 to 10 years. Throughout the year, from the 17h in Bombonets they have a library, until 20h. So that, parents who need it can leave their children.
